CONSHOHOCKEN, PA - On August 11th, 2021, Conshohocken Police responded to a residential burglary in progress. A juvenile victim reported a male entered through her bedroom window. The juvenile victim reported the male got into bed with her and touched her. The juvenile victim ran out of the room and immediately told an adult.
Upon police arrival, a ladder was located going from the rear yard to the victim’s bedroom window. The male was located hiding in the juvenile victim’s bedroom underneath a blanket wedged between the victim’s bed and the wall. The male was identified as Michael Malone. Michael Malone was taken into custody without incident.
Michael Malone did admit his intentions were to attempt to have sexual relations with the juvenile victim if she was willing to.
Michael Malone is charged with Attempted Rape and Attempted Sexual Assault of a child, Unlawful contact with a minor, Indecent Assault of a child, Burglary, Criminal Trespass and related charges.
CRIMINAL CHARGES, AND ANY DISCUSSION THEREFORE, ARE MERELY ALLEGATIONS AND ALL DEFENDANTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL AND UNLESS PROVEN GUILTY.
