Plymouth Meeting, PA - An 18-wheeler became disabled this afternoon when the center point of the trailer it was hauling suddenly collapsed rendering the truck immobile. Plymouth Township Police along with other local agencies responded to the scene to assist with traffic. Butler Pike between Plymouth Road and Militia Hill Road will remain closed until the scene is clear.
This road closure is not what local motorists need right now. Plymouth Road remains closed as emergency repairs continue on the most recent sinkhole and portions of Butler Pike remain closed during the day as infrastructure repairs are completed which are expected to continue into June.
Pack your patience and consider other routes if you are headed into that area this afternoon.
