Harmonville Fire Company Gets a 99-Year Lease Extention.

During the September 14, 2020 meeting, Plymouth Township Council unanimously voted to extend the lease of Harmonville Fire Company's location on Germantown Pike for an additional 99 years. This proposal was originally discussed in the Council Workshop on September 7, 2020.

This is the first amendment to the lease which originated in the 1970s. According to Harmonville Fire Company Chief John Hoffman Jr. “The lease extension is just one step in a series of strategic steps Harmonville Fire Company is taking to ensure that we are here for our community now and in the future. Also notable is the launch of our 4-year volunteer recruitment campaign and our recruitment website at https://joinharmonvillefire.org. We are taking proactive steps to ensure that the next generation of firefighters is onboard, trained, and ready for anything.”
