
PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA - Tonight a local non-profit, Brave Little Hearts for Michael and Friends will host an event called The Exhibit of African-American Healthcare and Science Pioneers at the Greater Plymouth Community Center. Tickets to this event remain and all are welcome. The event will feature members of the community highlighting and sharing stories of Pioneers in the Science and Healthcare Space along with another local history. Members of the community who are expected to present include Students from PW's Black Culture Awareness Club (BCA), Plymouth Council Women Kathy Bandish and others. One of the organizers, School Board Member, William Winchester added, "We will cover are Marie Van Brittan Brown, Dr. Charles Drew, Mae Jemison, George Washington Carver, and many other pioneers from all over the country."
