Two Injured When Boom Truck Tipped, Leaving Workers on Roof

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA - At approximately 12:30p on Tuesday 3/8/2022 two workers were injured when their boom truck tipped over leaving the workers injured and stranded on the roof. The incident occurred on the 1300 block of Conshohocken Road near the Schuykill River Trail. Multiple units from Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 along with Harmonville Fire Company No. 1 and Plymouth Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.


Responders were able to rescue the two injured workers from the roof and transport them to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The rescue took about 20 minutes to be executed.
